About Me

Hi and thanks so much for stopping by!

I'm Jodi, and you've happened upon what is basically my journal and scrapbook.  My life is full to the brim with blessings!  We are a busy homeschooling family and I have found myself in need of a way to chronicle this life that is passing by so quickly.  I can't keep up with a scrapbook for every kid or even one scrapbook for all of us.  Journaling and writing is a fairly new thing for me, but I've grown to really enjoy it and need a place to do it conveniently and keep it organized.   I decided that the different parts of my life are going to collide right here in blog format.

If you decide to look around, you'll find all sort of things about my...

Heart ~ Sincere and real...it won't always be pretty or politically correct.

Home ~ A project that is "In Progress".  My heart longs to be in the country, but I'm working on being content with this house in a neighborhood in town.  Lots of projects going on from painting walls to building furniture and trying to make peace with a fireplace.

Food ~ It's a love/hate relationship I'm working on.  Trying to convert our family to Paleo meets Trim Healthy Mama and collides with traditional eating ...sometimes with grace & dignity and sometimes not.

Faith ~ I love Jesus with all my heart.  I'll be posting about what's happening as the journey unfolds.  It sure has been a crazy love affair and I'm sure there is more to come.

Homeschool ~ A big focus of my energy goes to educating our kiddos.  I'll post about what works for us and what doesn't, our field trip adventures and milestones.

Back To School ~ Taking a leap of faith and going to hit some books again myself.  Very excited to begin training in brain integration therapy (BIT) and pursuing a classical education in naturopathy.

The Boys ~  4 of them, ages 2 to 11.   If you count the dh, make it 5.  I'm outnumbered and I love it!  All the energy they bring means there is never a dull moment around here.  I'm going to try and get some of these crazy moments in writing so we can treasure them forever.

If you choose to stay a while and look around, I hope you'll enjoy yourself and let me know.  Praying that you'll be blessed by something you find and that you might come back to see us again soon.

Hugs & Blessings,
Jodi
