The Boys

Boy #1 ~ Doug, the dh.  Patient & kind, I'm thankful that he loves me.  It's not easy most days, I'm sure.  An amazing father to my other boys, we wouldn't know what to do without him.

Boy #2 ~ Jackson Thomas, our oldest.  For this child I prayed.  This boy made my life's dream come true, he made me a mom.  He's kind, caring, smart, athletic, analytical, and a typical first-born.  He was the first boy in my life who taught me just how much God really loves me.  A love like this, I had never known and it changed my life forever.

Boy #3 ~ Carter Hammond, my spirit.  This boy has a heart who loves the Lord and a wise, discerning spirit even now.  I can't wait to see how God uses him.  He's the clown of the crew and so much fun!  He's an adventurer, like his mom, and always willing to try new things.  Carter is a lover of laughter, art, cooking, eating, music, nature, hunting, football and animals.  I adore him more and more each day.

Boy #4 ~ Harrison Lynn, my first baby.  Confused?  You'll understand shortly.  Just looking at this one makes me smile.  He adores me like none other.  He's always full of hugs and kisses just for me and I love it!  Coming in a close 2nd to me, he adores his daddy and his brothers.  Where ever you find them, he'll be just a step and a half behind.  Full of energy, tough, snuggly, he loves babies (real ones...not dolls) and football, too.  "H" is the perfect mix of sweet & salty - gentle & tough.  I love him like crazy!

Boy #5 ~ Grant William Emilio, my second (and last) baby.  This boy is a sweet gift from God.  Unexpected and arriving in miraculous fashion, we adopted him on December 22, 2012, when he was 18 months old.  He's the baby of the family now, even though Harrison still carries traits of being the baby.  Grant is a special blessing, a beautiful addition we are proud to call our own.  Sweet, handsome and intelligent, he loves books, balls, and trucks almost as much as he loves his daddy.  We love him so much and can't imagine life without him.
